Amazon gift cards

My kids have been in school since July and now most children are going back. In the flurry of getting everything ready, it is hard to think ahead remembering, that Christmas will be here before you can cut your Jack-O-Lantern. (No pun intended on flurry but when I read it back, I had to leave it) I will blame it on "lack of sleep."

Last year, I was on bed rest, and most everything I purchased came from the Internet. Amazon was a life saver for me. I love that you can buy anything...electronics, books, clothes, toys, collectibles, coffee and even the kitchen sink. Yes, I have thought of buying that on the Internet.

Now, Amazon has gift cards and I think they are a perfect gift for anyone. You can even email it if you have an emergency!! Some etiquette guru may argue that gift cards are impersonal, but in an economy when every $ counts, you need to get what you want or need and not something that will be the next garage sale trinket. I would love to receive one of these as a gift and so I will be buying them for many occasions.
