In the last few days the baby has been a little fussy. We are desperately trying to maintain his schedule and do all the fun vacation stuff. At first we thought he was just teething but no real tooth eruptions to speak of. Now for the last two days he is pushing away his milk after we give him his cereal and fruit or vegetable. WHAT? Maybe this is only a temporary change so I offer the milk anyways, but it is too expensive to waste. Could he be weaning before he is even 6 months?? It has been so long that after I write this I will go to research land to try and figure it out. Remember his milk tastes terrible, Nutramigen AA Lipil. He is allergic to other milk. If any of you have any wisdom to pass along I would love to hear it. Moms please help!!!
Blessings on your Monday, don't forget about Ben & Jerry's if you have one.
Sheri,
ReplyDeleteJule does that every time he's teething, and it has lasted for up to two weeks before we actually see each tooth. Something else he does during these times is biting and pulling on the bottle nipple instead of drinking. He has also done that when he's had an ear infection because the sucking hurts.
We have had to use expensive formula, but nothing like Elijah's. What we do is make a 2 oz. bottle to see if he's actually going to drink it.
Hope some of this helps, and hope he gives you some other clues as to what's up.
Have a wonderful day!
Heather
